Peace Exhibition


SGM Penang High School Division and Student Division will be organising a "Peace Exhibition" from 4 - 12 September 2010. The exhibition will exhibit SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's Peace Proposal to the United Nations since 1983. The main focus of the exhibition will be on the 2010 Peace Proposal - "Towards A New Era of Value Creation".

The details of the exhibition are as follows:

4-8 September

Introduction on Soka Gakkai Malaysia(SGM)

Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) is an NGO that actively promotes peace, cultureand education through personal change and social contribution. SGM activities are conducted with the shared understanding of the inseparable linkages that exist between individual happiness and the peace and development of the society. Through inner-directed reformation, SGM members hope to contribute to the betterment of their communities and build a society where people of diverse cultures and faiths can live in peace.

Since its inception in 1984, SGM has conducted its activities with the following objectives as its guiding principles:

♦ To contribute to the well-being and prosperity of the country
♦ To foster friendship, family happiness, racial harmony and peace
